Construction of our new offices and production facilities

Palmedic is proud to announce the start of the construction of our new production facilities and offices at the Koningslinde (Business park Lindebrook) in Lichtenvoorde. Final phases of the project are scheduled in October 2011. Visit the construction page to see the progress.

Paediatric Bite Guard with adjustable strap

Introducing Latex-Free Transesophageal Bite Blocks / bite guards, specially designed for children. The bite guard comes with an adjustable latex free elastic band for a perfect fit and is designed to provide a safe passage through the patient's mouth during TEE procedures. It is protecting the patient’s teeth as well as protecting valuable TOE/TEE probes and endoscopes.

The bite guard will be packed in all our Paediatric and MicroMulti kits. (see the following kit references which contain the new bite guard)

Extended TEE covers

Cleaning and disinfecting  transducers is time consuming and expensive.
Using our Probetection™ TOE/TEE transducer cover provides optimal safety in order to avoid cross contamination from patient to patient.

With the introduction of our new extended TOE/TEE transducer cover you can now cover the entire transducer including the complete control unit and a part of the cable. Especially the control units are very difficult to clean properly.

The extended TOE/TEE transducer covers are available for transducers used for Adults, Paediatrics and Neonatal* patients.

Adult version:

Ø Diameter Tip: 15 mm over 500 mm in length, tapered to Ø Diameter : 31 mm over 600 mm in length, tapered to 200 mm over 900 in lenght. Total length 2000 mm. Available in the following references.

Cover for transducers with small footprints

A new latex-free trans intraoperative transducer cover. The covers provide an extended field of sterile protection during ultrasound procedures. The form-fitting tip provides a perfect fit to small footprint transducers. Covers are sterile, individually packaged with two (2) twist locks.
